Connect Claude, Anthropic’s AI assistant, to your Nimbata account. You can then ask Claude about your calls, reports and setup in plain language and, if you allow it, have Claude make changes for you, such as creating a tag or blocking a spam caller. Claude connects with your own Nimbata login, so it can only see and do what you can in Nimbata.
Claude connects through Nimbata’s The address an AI assistant uses to work with Nimbata, over the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard for connecting assistants to other apps., at https://mcp.nimbata.com/mcp.

Troubleshooting
Nimbata isn’t in your Claude connectors
- On Claude Team or Enterprise, an Owner must add Nimbata first, as in the Claude Team or Enterprise tab of Connect Claude. Ask your Claude Owner.
- On other plans, add it yourself with the Connector URL tab.
Claude doesn’t use Nimbata in a chat
- Click + in the chat, point to Connectors and turn Nimbata on for that chat.
- In Customize › Connectors › Nimbata, check that the tools you need aren’t set to Blocked under Tool permissions.
“Permission required” when you sign in
- Your Nimbata role doesn’t include MCP Access. Ask your Nimbata administrator to add it: Give a role access to AI assistants.
“Connection unavailable” when you sign in
- Your organization can’t connect AI assistants right now, for example because its subscription has ended. Contact your Nimbata administrator. An admin can choose a plan in Account › Plans & Billing.
Claude can’t make a change, or asks you to connect Nimbata again
- You chose View when you connected, and changes need View and manage. If Nimbata’s authorization page opens, choose View and manage, then click .
- If it doesn’t open, go to Customize › Connectors in Claude, disconnect Nimbata and connect it again, then choose View and manage.
Claude says you don’t have permission to make changes
- Your Nimbata role allows Claude to view your data but not to make changes, so the authorization page didn’t offer View and manage. Ask your Nimbata administrator to add Full access to MCP Access in your role.
- Then go to Customize › Connectors in Claude, disconnect Nimbata and connect it again, and choose View and manage.
Claude says the Nimbata connection has expired or was revoked
- The connection ended: it reached its one-year limit, wasn’t used for 90 days, was disconnected in Nimbata, or your role lost the access it was approved with.
- In Claude, go to Customize › Connectors and click Connect next to Nimbata to connect again.
Detailed guide: How long a connection lasts
Claude says Nimbata is limiting requests
- Nimbata limits how many requests each person can make, and your personal API tokens count toward the same limit. Wait for the time Claude gives, then try again.
If something else goes wrong, contact support@nimbata.com.
Frequently asked questions
Does everyone on my team need to connect?
Yes. Even when a Claude Owner adds Nimbata for your whole Claude organization, each person clicks Connect and signs in with their own Nimbata login. Claude then has that person’s access, and nobody else’s.
Can Claude change things without asking me?
With View, Claude can’t change anything. With View and manage, set the Nimbata tools you want to approve first to Needs approval under Tool permissions in Claude.
How does Nimbata handle my data?
Claude reads and changes your data through Nimbata with your permissions, and Nimbata handles it as its privacy policy describes.
