## Compare time periods
Sometimes a single view of your data isn't enough to give you the full picture. The **Compare** feature lets you evaluate your analytics across different time periods, giving you a much clearer understanding of how your call performance is trending over time.
> **Note:** It is currently not possible to compare data for "Caller Journeys" and "Visit Stats".
1. **Open the dashboard**
- Navigate to your dashboard and locate the chart or metric you wish to analyze.
- For example, to evaluate your calls, go to [Dashboards > Call Outcomes](https://app.nimbata.com/dashboard/call-outcomes).
2. **Set your primary time period**
- Select the time frame for your baseline analysis with the date picker (for example, "Last 7 days" or "Last 30 days").
- Click **Apply**.
The analysis is now populated for the selected period.

3. **Compare your data**
- Click **Compare**, right next to the selected time frame.

Once clicked, the button changes to **Vs Previous Period**. By default, the system matches the exact duration of your selected period, but applies it to the past. For example, if today, on August 12th, you select "This month" and click Compare, the dashboard compares your recent 12 days of August against the previous 12-day period (20th to 31st of July).
4. **Adjust the comparison dates (optional)**
- To compare against a different time frame, click **Vs Previous Period** and adjust the calendar to the dates you wish to compare your findings with.
5. **Adjust your filters and save (optional)**
- To filter your data further, select the **By** section of the report (on the right) and select your parameter.

- Lastly, you can save your layout or export it to PDF with the **Actions** button on the right.
🎉 Your dashboard is now configured to give you a powerful comparative analysis of your data!

## View several projects
If you manage multiple clients or projects, you can view dashboard analytics across some or all of them at once. This lets you compare performance across accounts without switching projects manually.
1. **Go to a dashboard report**
- For example, to see the missed calls history, go to [Dashboards > Missed Calls](https://app.nimbata.com/dashboard/missed-calls).
2. **Select your project scope**
- Click the **project dropdown** at the top of the report.
- Select **All Projects** to see data across your entire account, or select a specific project to focus on one.

3. **Apply a project filter**
- Click **Filters**.
- Scroll down to the **Project** filter and select it. It is listed only when **All Projects** is selected.
4. **Select the projects to include**
- Check the project or projects you want to include in the dashboard.
5. **Apply the filter**
- Click **Apply Changes** to load data for your selected projects.

🎉 The report now shows data for your selected projects.

## Set the report timezone
The timezone setting controls how call timestamps appear across all your reports. It is configured at the project level, so each project can have its own timezone.
1. **Open your project settings**
- Click your **user avatar** in the top-right corner.
- Select **Projects** from the menu.
- Or go directly to [Account > Projects](https://app.nimbata.com/account/projects).
2. **Select the project to update**
- Click the project whose timezone you want to change.
3. **Set the timezone**
- Click the **TimeZone** drop-down menu.
- Select the timezone you want to use for this project's reports.
- Save your changes.

🎉 All reports for that project now display call timestamps in the selected timezone.
