Compare time periods

Sometimes a single view of your data isn’t enough to give you the full picture. The Compare feature lets you evaluate your analytics across different time periods, giving you a much clearer understanding of how your call performance is trending over time.

Note

It is currently not possible to compare data for “Caller Journeys” and “Visit Stats”.

  1. Open the dashboard

    • Navigate to your dashboard and locate the chart or metric you wish to analyze.
    • For example, to evaluate your calls, go to Dashboards > Call Outcomes.
  2. 1Set your primary time period

Select the time frame for your baseline analysis with the date picker (for example, Last 7 Days or Last 30 Days).

After you click + Compare, the vs Previous Period chip (1) appears. Click it to open the comparison calendar and its Selected period.

Once clicked, the button changes to vs Previous Period. By default, the system matches the exact duration of your selected period, but applies it to the past. For example, if today, on August 12th, you select “This month” and click Compare, the dashboard compares your recent 12 days of August against the previous 12-day period (20th to 31st of July).

  5. Adjust the comparison dates (optional)

    • To compare against a different time frame, click vs Previous Period and adjust the calendar to the dates you wish to compare your findings with.
  6. 1Adjust your filters and save (optional)
