Mask Caller ID

Mask Caller ID - Choose what to display in your screen when callers call you!

Caller ID masking is a technique that conceals or changes the caller’s phone number when receiving calls. Instead of displaying the caller’s actual phone number, a different number is shown on the recipient’s Caller ID display. The purpose of caller ID masking can vary, but it’s often used by businesses for tracking and analytics purposes in business contexts, where different masked numbers are assigned to different advertising campaigns or marketing efforts to measure their effectiveness.

📲 Display the tracking number: By default, Nimbata shows the caller’s number on your caller ID when you receive an incoming call on a tracking number. Businesses using multiple tracking numbers might want to have a particular tracking number displayed on their caller ID to easily identify calls coming in through that specific tracking number.
📲 Show as Anonymous: Sending leads to clients with a pay per call model and don’t want to risk your clients calling the caller back? Mask the caller ID as anonymous when callers call a specific number.

Set up Caller ID Masking

Step 1. Go to Tracking > Call Flows. If you want to start a new Call Flow click the "+" symbol, otherwise just click on the call flow you want to add the Caller ID Masking.

Step 2. Click on the + button after the New call and from the menu on the right select Mask Caller ID
