Trends report: how to analyze call activity by tracking number

The Trends report lets you monitor call performance over time, broken down by the channel of your choice.

This guide walks through how to use it with a Tracking Number breakdown.


You can download the data from any chart as PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG, or CSV by clicking the arrows in the top-right corner of the chart.




Step 2. Select the Tracking Number channel


  • Click the Channel menu on the upper-left of the report.
  • Select Tracking Number.



Step 3. Set the date range


  • Click the date range picker.
  • Select the time period you want to view.
  • Click Apply.


Step 4. Apply filters (optional)


  • Click Filters.
  • Select the filters you want from the right-side panel. E.g. Recording to limit data to recorded calls.
  • Click Apply for each filter.
  • Add as many as you need.



Step 5. Switch between percentages and numbers


  • Click the as % link (shown in blue) to toggle between viewing data as percentages or as absolute numbers.



Step 6. Switch the chart type


  • At the bottom-left of the report, choose Line (default) or Column.



Step 7. Choose Show Total or Show by Group (Column view only)


  • In Column view, the as % / as # toggle is replaced by Show Total and Show by Group.
  • Show Total displays a single combined bar per time period.
  • Show by Group stacks or groups bars by tracking number.




Step 8. Change the time grouping


  • Select Day, Week, or Month to control how the data is summarized along the time axis.


Step 9. Export the underlying data (optional)


  • Use the Excel or CSV buttons below the chart to download the raw data for your selected period and filters.
