How to create reports by UTM source and medium
You can analyse call attribution by UTM source and medium using two methods: via the Tracking Source report or via the Dashboard.
Method 1: Tracking Source report
Step 1. Open the Tracking Source report
- Go to Analytics > Tracking Source.
Step 2. Set the date range
- Click the date range picker.
- Select the period you want to view.
- Click Apply.
Step 3. Switch the channel to UTM Source / Medium
- Click the Channel menu on the upper-left of the report.
- Select UTM Source / Medium.

Step 4. Apply filters (optional)
- Click Filters and select any filters you want; e.g. Recording.
- Click Apply.
Your report now shows call data broken down by UTM source and medium.
Method 2: Dashboard
Step 1. Open the dashboard and add a chart
- Go to Analytics > Dashboard.
- Click + Add at the top-left.
- Select the Calls chart category.
Step 2. Search for UTM reports
- Type UTM source/medium in the search bar.
- Click Add next to the report or reports you want.

- Close the menu.
Step 3. Set the date range
- Click the date range picker.
- Select your time frame.
- Click Apply.
