How to copy a workflow into another project

If you have a workflow set up in one project and want to reuse the same logic in another project, you can copy it rather than rebuilding it from scratch.

Before you start: You need access to both the source project and the destination project. If you manage multiple projects, make sure you are viewing the correct one before starting.

Step 1. Open the workflow you want to copy.

  • Go to Workflows.
  • Find the workflow you want to copy.
  • Click the [PLACEHOLDER: three-dot menu / settings icon / copy button] on that workflow.

Step 2. Select the copy option.

  • Click [PLACEHOLDER: Copy to project / Duplicate to project] from the menu.

Step 3. Choose the destination project.

  • Select the project you want to copy the workflow into from the dropdown.
  • Click [PLACEHOLDER: Copy / Confirm].

🎉 The workflow has been copied into the destination project.

The copied workflow will appear in the destination project's workflow list with the same trigger, filters, and actions.

Review it before enabling it to make sure any tracking numbers, tags, or integrations referenced in the workflow exist in the destination project.

These are project-specific and may need to be updated.

Tracking numbers, call tags, swap groups, and integration connections are all project-level. A workflow copied from another project may reference resources that do not exist in the destination project yet. Update these before enabling the workflow.
