How do I add a destination number?

Destination Numbers

A Destination Number is the phone number that will ring when someone calls one of your Nimbata tracking numbers. Adding destination numbers is a key first step before building call flows, routing calls to the right team, and making sure every tracked call reaches the correct endpoint.

After adding a destination number, you can:

  • Use it in your Call Flow Builder (e.g., in the Dial action) to forward calls where they need to go
  • Route calls to different destinations based on time of day, day of week, or availability
  • Manage your destinations centrally under Tracking > Destinations, and remove any that aren’t used in an active call flow

How to add a Destination Number

Step 1. Go to Tracking > Destinations and click on the '+ Add' button.

Step 2. In the pop-up menu, select the flag of the country your phone number belongs to and fill in the phone number that will become your new destination number. Then, give it a name that you'll remember it by and click on 'Add Destination'.

Step 2.5. Optionally, you can tick the 'create call flow for [number]' box before adding the destination to simultaneously create a call flow associated with the destination number.

Step 3. Your new destination number has been added!

And adding a Destination Number to Nimbata is as easy as that!
