Google Ads conversion cannot be found but setup is correct issue

Google Ads integration issue

You've created your Nimbata account.

You've added your tracking numbers.

Your call flows and workflows were a breeze to set up thanks to our templates.

Your Google Ads account is connected to your Nimbata account no problem.

And yet... Nimbata notifies you that the Google Ads conversion you’re trying to select cannot be found.

  • What is the issue?
  • Why is it occurring?
  • How can you fix it?

What is the issue with the Nimbata + Google Ads integration?

Nimbata is unable to locate the specific conversion action you want to map your calls to.

Even though your Google Ads account is connected, the conversion list Nimbata has on file does not include the conversion you expect to see.

Why is it happening?

This typically occurs because the list of conversion actions in the connected Google Ads account has changed since the initial integration with Nimbata.

Common causes include:

  • New conversion actions were created after the connection was established.
  • Existing conversions were renamed, removed, or reconfigured.
  • Permission or scope changes caused some conversions to no longer be visible to the integration.

When Nimbata is still working with an earlier set of conversion data, newly added conversions will not appear.

How can you fix it?

To make sure that Nimbata receives the most up-to-date conversion list from Google Ads:

Step 1. Go to Integrations > Google Ads.

Step 2. Disconnect the Google Ads account from Nimbata.

Step 3. Reconnect the same account to refresh the integration following our Google Ads Setup Guide.

Step 4. After reconnecting, check the conversion drop-down menu again; the new or updated conversions should now appear.

If conversions still do not show, confirm that:

  • The Google user who connects the account has the correct permissions to do so.
  • The conversion is set to 'Import from clicks' or 'Include in ‘Conversions', depending on your needs.
