How to Set Up Slack integration

The Nimbata+Slack integration allows teams to communicate better and obtain real-time call insights within their preferred Slack workplace. You can easily tailor your message according to the data you wish to receive in every message such asTracking Number, Call Duration, Caller ID, Recording Link, UTM source and more. Seeing your data as it happens improves your decision making process, enhances your marketing performance and helps your teams become more aligned.

Things you can do when using Slack with Nimbata include:

Real-time call notifications: Receive instant notifications in Slack whenever a call comes in. This allows you to stay updated on incoming calls or take action on missed calls asap so that you never miss a lead.
Call data sharing: Share call data and analytics with your team members in Slack channels. You can provide insights on call volumes, durations, call conversion rates, utm campaign, call recordings and other relevant metrics, fostering alignment and collaboration.
Automated alerts and triggers: Set up integration triggers based on specific call events. For example, you can configure Slack to send a notification when a call meets specific criteria, such as a high-value lead tagged as “potential lead” or a customer complaint. This helps you prioritize calls more efficiently.

Step-by-step Guide - Connecting your Slack workspace to your nimbata account

Step 1. Go to Integrations > Slack and click on "Add To Slack" button located on the top of the page.

Step 2. Give permission to Nimbata by clicking on "Allow". If the connection is successful, a confirmation message will appear stating "App is connected to Slack."

Step 3. Then, head back to Nimbata app and select your trigger. You can either opt for the default "After Every Call" or create your own by clicking on the Trigger Field. To create a new trigger, from the drop-down list select "Create Trigger." This feature enables you to filter the calls you want to send to Slack. For instance, if you only want to be notified for the calls tagged as "Sales," create a new trigger that aligns with your criteria (tag = "Sales").

For demonstration purposes we will continue with the "Answered Call" Trigger.

Step 4. At the next step, select the Slack Channel to which your call data will be sent.

Step 5. Now, it's time to choose the call data you wish to receive. The following list shows the most common call data our users prefer to include in the message.
You can easily remove a value by clicking on the cross symbol or change the default title. If you wish to add a value, click on the "+" symbol and complete the required fields accordingly.

An interesting value to include in the message is the Recording Link ("Rec Link") in order to access your recordings in just one click..

🔥 Now, you are all set! You also have the option to send a test event to GSheets to ensure that everything is working as you want. Ensure that you will save your Changes!!
