How to integrate your Google Ads goals and conversions via Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
How to send call events to Google Ads via GA4
The quickest way to import your call data in Google Ads is to create a conversion based on the goal you have created in Google Analytics. This way Google populates your Google Ads account in real time. Before you integrate your Nimbata account with Google Ads, make sure you have first:
- Integrate Nimbata with the Google Analytics platform: https://help.nimbata.com/en/article/google-analytics-4-1l4tjvt/
- Create your call goals in Google Ads: https://help.nimbata.com/en/article/how-to-set-up-google-ads-16qe443/
Go ahead with the Google Ads Integration once you have completed the above.
How to set everything up
Head over to your Google Ads account and follow these steps:
Step 1. Navigate to Goals > Conversions > Summary. Once in the 'Summary' view, click the ' + Create conversion action' button.
Step 2. On the 'Start tracking conversions' menu, select the 'Import' option.
Step 3. Then, select 'Google Analytics 4 properties > Web' from the menu that appears below and click on 'Continue'.
Step 4. Select the conversion actions to import from your Google Analytics 4 property and click on 'Import and continue'.
Step 5. Now you're all set! If you ever need to tweak your conversion settings, head back to the 'Summary' view, find your conversion action, and click on its name. Make any necessary edits in the 'Settings' tab. Click on 'Save' to save your changes.
🎉 That's it!
