Set up Google Ads Integration - (new interface)
Nimbata + Google Ads (previously known as Google AdWords) integration helps you discover which sources, campaigns, adgroups, ads, and keywords are driving not only the most phone leads but also the most high-value leads to your business, optimize your marketing efforts, and allocate your budget accordingly.
Sometimes you want to directly integrate with Google Ads and not via a Google Analytics goal. To do so follow the steps described below:
Set Up
Step 1. Go to Integrations > Google Ads, and click on the "Sign in with Google" button
Step 2. Choose your account, and give access to Nimbata by clicking on "Continue", and then on "**Allow".** A confirmation message will appear indicating that your account has been successfully connected.

Step 3. Then go to the Google Ads Account which you just linked in Nimbata. In Google Ads click on "Create" and then "Conversion Action".

Step 4. Choose Conversions Offline. Your set up should look like this:

Step 5. Hit on "Add data source". Then, choose "Skip this step and setup a data source later". Also make sure to check the checkbox under customer data.

Step 6. Choose a category.


Step 7. Hit Save & Continue. Head back to your Nimbata account. Now, it's time to tell Nimbata when and which calls to send as conversions back to your Google Ads Account. First, select your trigger. The default trigger is "After Every Call," meaning that Nimbata will send every single PPC call to your Google Ads account. However, if you want to filter the calls that will be sent to your Google Ads account, click on the Trigger Field, and then from the drop-down list, click on "Create Trigger." This is extremely helpful if you want to send multiple call conversions to your Google Ads Account, such as answered calls, sales calls, quality calls, etc. To do so, proceed to create a custom trigger for each one. This method helps you increase the quality of the leads that are sent back to your Google Ads and helps Google understand what constitutes a quality conversion.
Step 7. Now, proceed to select your Google Ads Account and choose the conversion you've just created within Google Ads. If you wish to include the value of each call, simply check the value checkbox.
In the following example, I've created two conversions: one for answered calls and another for sales calls, using two distinct custom triggers.

The first conversion uses the "Answered Calls" Trigger (Call Outcome = Answered):

For the second conversion, I've used the "value > 0" Trigger (Value greater than or equal to 1). Here, I've ensured to check the value checkbox because I want Nimbata to transmit the actual sales value generated from each call. This ensures a more precise calculation of CPA, ROI, and ROAS for my campaigns:

🎉 That's it! Your Google Ads account will be populated once a day with call conversions from Nimbata!
