Google Ads integration: how to set it up in Nimbata

This guide covers direct Google Ads integration, without using Google Analytics as an intermediary. You'll need an active Google Ads account with permission to create conversion actions.


Nimbata's Google Ads integration lets you send call conversions directly to Google Ads so you can see which campaigns, ad groups, and keywords drive phone leads.


Step 1. Connect your Google Ads account


In Nimbata, go to Integrations > Google Ads and click Connect. Sign in with the Google account linked to your Google Ads account, then click Continue and Allow. Your Gmail address will appear in green once connected.



Step 2. Create a conversion action in Google Ads


In Google Ads, go to Goals > Summary and click + Create conversion action. Select a conversion category (e.g. Contact) and click Save and continue.



If the setup interface looks different in your account, set the data source to Offline and select Connect data source later before saving.


Click Add conversion actions, select Connect data source later, add all the conversions you need, and click Save and continue. Review the summary and click Finish.



Back in Nimbata's Google Ads integration page, select your Google Ads account and choose the conversion action you just created. If you want to include call values or enable enhanced conversions, select those options here.



Checking Include Value removes the configuration warning shown in Nimbata.


Step 4. Create a workflow to send call data


Click on See all workflows to connect your Google Ads integration to an already-existing Nimbata workflow, or select Create a workflow for Nimbata to create and connect the workflow for you. Activate your workflow by clicking Enable.




🎉 Done! Call conversions will be sent to Google Ads whenever a call matches your workflow conditions.
