Format appearance of Tracking Numbers (and how to change it)

The appearance (format) of your tracking numbers in Nimbata should match how phone numbers are written on your website. If you’re using text-based number swapping, differences in formatting may prevent the DNI script from finding and replacing the number correctly.

In Nimbata, you can display tracking numbers in one of the following formats, shown with +1 as an example country code:

If text-based swapping isn’t reliable on your site, e.g. numbers are rendered dynamically, use Span Tag swapping for precise replacement.

How to change the appearance of your tracking numbers

One at a time

Step 1. Head over to Tracking > Numbers.

Step 2. Next, click on the tracking number you wish to format, change the formatting to match that of your website, and click on the green check icon to save your changes.

Bulk editing

You can also select multiple numbers and edit them all at once.

Step 1. Go to Tracking > Numbers.

Step 2. Select all the tracking numbers you wish to edit.

Step 3. Click on the '123 / Modify number appearance' button, select the number format of your preference, and hit 'Apply'.

Using the buttons next to 'Modify number appearance', you can also bulk edit tracking number names, assign call flows, move numbers to different projects, and change their source.
