Can I redirect calls to different destinations if they go unanswered?
Sequential Ringing
With Nimbata, you can redirect calls between agents if they go unanswered in a specific time frame. You can do that with sequential ringing. Sequential ringing is a handy feature for both businesses and individuals. Here's why it's useful:
- Ensures calls get answered: By ringing multiple numbers in a sequence, it's more likely someone will pick up the call.
- Reduces missed calls: You can set it to ring your mobile phone after a certain number of rings on your office line.
How to activate sequential ringing
Step 1. Go to Tracking > Call Flows.
Step 2. Click on the '+ Add' button on the top-right corner, or edit a pre-existing call flow.
Step 3. Click on the three dots on the top-right of the 'Dial' box and select the 'Change to Sequential' call routing option.
Step 4. Add your destination numbers.
Step 5. Choose how many seconds you want the call to ring before jumping to a different one. Optionally rename your call flow so it's easy to find.
Step 6. Finish setting up your call flow. When you are done, go to Tracking > Numbers and assign it to tracking numbers of your choice. Nimbata will display a message informing you that your call flow has been successfully assigned to the tracking number.
And you are done! Now calls will be redirected if they go unanswered within your specified time frame.
