How can I block unwanted or spam callers ?
Requirements: Available only for Marketing and Agency users.
If you receive repetitive spam calls from the same caller ID, that number can be blocked to prevent them from calling you in the future. Nimbata lets you do this in 4 ways:
1. Add a new caller to Blocked Caller List
Step 1. Go to Tracking > Block Callers.
Step 2. Click on the "+" button to add a caller ID to the list.
Step 3. Input the caller ID you wish to block from making calls to your tracking number and click on "Add".

🚫 The list should now be populated with the numbers you blocked.
2. Add a new caller ID to Spam Numbers List
Step 1. Go to Activity > Calls.
Step 2. Fill out the caller ID on the search bar.
Step 3. Select the correct date range.
Step 4. Click on the arrow to expand caller ID details.
Step 5. Click the ‘add to call spam numbers’ button.
3. Block known spam caller ID prefixes with Call Flows
Step 1. Go to Tracking > Call Flows.
Step 2. Click on the ‘Add’ button to create a new Call Flow.
Step 3. Click on the ‘+’ button and select the Caller ID Prefix filter call flow action.
Step 4. Fill out the Caller ID Prefix and click the ‘+’ sign below to add another action.
Step 5. Select ‘Hang up’ under Routing Options.
4. Add Greeting + Keypad Entry to naturally prevent spam calls
Step 1. Go to Tracking > Call Flows.
Step 2. Click on the ‘Add’ button to create a new Call Flow.
Step 3. Click on the ‘+’ button and select the Greeting add-on.
Step 4. Click on the ‘+’ button to add the Keypad Entry filter and set up your menu.
Step 5. Select the Remaining Keys/No Input option and add ‘Hang up’ under Routing Options.

Bonus: Remove Caller from Block Caller List
If you wish to remove a number from the block list, simply select it, click on the red bin icon, and then click on "Yes" in the pop-up message.
