Google Ads status shows as inactive

You may have noticed that your Google Ads status is 'Inactive' even though you have completed the integration properly.



If that’s the case, then check these things first:


Step 1. Go to Integrations > Google Ads.



Here, make sure that your 'Ads Account' and 'Conversion Name' are all up and running, and that you've selected to 'Include value'.



Step 2. Make sure that the number is swapping on your website. Append ?gclid=test at the end of the URL to mimic a visit from Google Ads.


If all is good, but the status is still shown as inactive, then don’t worry about it. Once you get your first conversion, the status will change automatically.


As per Google Ads ApI documentation, Nimbata sends conversions with a 24 hour delay to ensure proper attribution.
