# How to edit a user account's general and security information

### Step 1. Open Account Settings

* Click your **user avatar** in the top-right corner.
* Select [Account Settings](https://app.nimbata.com/account/users).

### Step 2. Go to the Users tab

* Click the **Users** tab.

### Step 3. Open the user

* Click the name of the user you want to edit.

### Step 4. Make your changes

In the **General** section you can update the user's information, access rights, and project access.

In the **Security** section you can enable or disable two-factor authentication, reset the user's password, or remove the user from the account.
