# How to customize your dashboard

A customized dashboard gives you a single view of what matters most. 
You can remove charts you don't need, add new ones, rearrange them, resize them, and exclude specific data sources.

|| To restore your dashboard to its original state at any time, click Actions > Reset to System Default at the right of the page.

### Step 1. Open the dashboard

* Go to [ Dashboard<My Dashboard](https://app.nimbata.com/dashboard/my-dashboard).

### Step 2. Remove widgets you don't need

* Click the three dots on top right corner of each widget to remove it.
* You can re-add any removed widget at any time.

### Step 3. Add the reports and charts you need

* Click **+ Add** at the right of the screen.
* Select a chart category (e.g. **Volume**).
* Click on the rule box's parameters to open, configure and add them according to your preferences.

### Step 4. Rearrange charts

* Drag any widget/chart **up or down** to change the order.
* Place your most important reports at the top.

### Step 5. Resize charts

* Drag the **edges** of a widget/chart to increase or decrease its width and size.

| You can resize a chart from all sides.


### Step 6. Exclude specific data from a chart

* Click on any data source label inside a chart to exclude it.
* An excluded source is shown with a strike-through.
* Click the same label again to restore it.
* You can exclude all data source labels inside a chart by clicking on Deselect All:

🎉 Your dashboard is now configured to show exactly the data you need.
