# Google Ads integration: how to set it up in Nimbata

| This guide covers direct Google Ads integration directly from within Nimbata, without using Google Analytics as an intermediary. You'll need an active Google Ads account with permission to create conversion actions. 

Nimbata's Google Ads integration lets you send call conversions directly to Google Ads so you can see which campaigns, ad groups, and keywords drive phone leads.

### Step 1. Connect your Google Ads account

* In Nimbata, go to [Integrations > Browse](https://app.nimbata.com/integrations/service/google-ads)
* Locate Google Ads and click **Continue with Google**.
* Sign in with the Google account linked to your Google Ads account.
* Then click **Continue** and **Allow**. 
* Your Gmail address will appear right next to the Google Ads logo on the left side of the page.

### Step 2. Create a conversion action in Google Ads

You don't need to create the conversion via Google Ads. You can simply do so directly via Nimbata.

Click **+ Add conversion** (on the right side of the page)
Select the Ads account for this conversion
Select a conversion from the drop-down menu, or even Create one from scratch.

| If you create one from scratch, make sure to click + Add xx\_your\_custom\_conversion name\_xx

🎉 Done! Call conversions will be sent to Google Ads whenever a call matches your workflow conditions.
